Welcome to West University Place, Texas

There have been Baha'is in West University Place, TX, since the 1960s.  West University Place is a small bedroom community, surrounded by Houston, within the 610 loop.  We are near Rice University and the Rice Village shopping area.  West U has around 5000 homes, and a Baha'i community numbering 20 individuals.  

We have numerous community activites that you are welcome to join, including:

  • Introductory meetings (Firesides) on alternate Fridays, 
  • Study groups on Sundays, 
  • Devotionals monthly, and 
  • classes for children ages 4 through 14.
